I am an architect, registered in Massachusetts, with many years of experience designing homes, schools and commercial spaces. I work closely with clients to find elegant solutions to their design needs, emphasizing light and the beauty of natural materials, and implement green building strategies whenever possible.
I am currently designing a home in rural Vermont, and with architect Thomas Bartels I’ve recently completed several high profile projects in Williamstown, Massachusetts, including the renovation of the Cole Porter house and a new home across from the Clark Art Museum. Before moving to the Berkshires in 2013, I worked for over a decade with several influential Bay Area firms, including Backen, Gillam & Kroeger Architects and Starkweather Bondy Architecture.
I hold a Master of Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Arts from Swarthmore College. I was a visiting artist at the American Academy of Rome in 2012-2013 and have taught classes in architectural design at Williams College.
